The Commission on the Integration of Refugees has just released its flagship report 'From Arrival To Integration: Building Communities For Refugees And For Britain'.

It outlines the urgent need to reset asylum policy in the UK, and sets out an ambitious reform agenda. This includes a recommendation for a government-backed finance scheme for aspiring refugee entrepreneurs and recognition of the “strong arguments” for giving asylum seekers the right to be self-employed from day one.

In this blog, our Co-Founder Charlie Fraser reflects on these key findings for refugee entrepreneurship in the UK, adding our support to its clear call for changes to the asylum system that can improve outcomes for all.
